Damage Investigation on the Carbon Tows during Rewinding and Braiding Processes

چکیده
During the manufacturing process, fibrous materials used in composite reinforcements are subjected to many sources of damage that must be managed if best possible quality is reached for final product. More specifically, carbon fibers subjected, during reinforcement manufacturing, friction with mechanical components and other tows excessive tensile loads due specific configurations required by textile devices, which results degradation affects their properties those products. While studies have focused on tow weaving roving control post-braiding steps, such as rewinding or braiding processes, less studied literature. In this study, an experimental approach was developed quantify inflicted 12 K processes using image analysis software. Based these images, a criterion defined influence parameters associated tows. stage, process significant, but (linear density tenacity) were little-modified. On hand, great tension applied experimentally demonstrated, both may resulted loss tenacity up 27%.

15 صفحه اولFriction of carbon fibre tows
The fundamental frictional behaviour of carbon fibre tows relevant to composite fabric forming is explored. Tow-on-tool and tow-on-tow contact are considered. For tow-on-tool contact, an experiment is devised to simultaneously observe the true filament contact length and measure the friction force over a range of normal loads. Filament contact length is not constant, as would be given from an i...

the central purpose of this study was to conduct a case study about the role of self monitoring in teacher’s use of motivational strategies. furthermore it focused on how these strategies affected students’ motivational behavior. although many studies have been done to investigate teachers’ motivational strategies use (cheng & d?rnyei, 2007; d?rnyei & csizer, 1998; green, 2001, guilloteaux & d?...
the effect of e-64 on the developmental competence of sheep cocs during in vitro maturation
in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.
